This screen details the cost for plates of this component. In the case of a digital press, the
equivalent is the cost (if any) of make-readies.
Type:- The plate type you specified in the details window (just to remind you). This is irrelevant
for a digital press.
Quantity:- The number of plates (or make-readies) required for this component. You can
override this here, but doing so will toggle manual mode. This is so that if you subsequently
recalculate it won't override your entry. Note that changing this figure won't adjust the number of
litho plate make-readies. If you are actually trying to add an extra plate and make-ready - e.g. for
a mid-run change of branch name on a letterhead - you should specify this in the details window.
Price each:- The price you set up for this plate type or make-ready when setting up the press.
Total price:- Price times quantity
External cost each:- The external price you set up for this plate type or make-ready when setting
up the press.
Total added value:- The contribution to overhead of this task.
