The Master menu

At the top left hand side of the Jobs Desktop is the PrintSum logo  graphic.

Clicking on this reveals the Master menu for the job.

In the right hand panel are some of the jobs which you have recently been working on. If you select one it will first close the current job, prompting you to save it if necessary, and then open the job you have selected.

graphic  Hover the mouse over 'New' and you'll see links to the different job creation wizards.  The assumption is that you've been interrupted and you don't want to close the current job. So the wizard  launches in a new window.

graphic  'Save' (self-evidently) saves the job for you.

graphic Hovering the mouse over 'Save as' reveals a sub-menu containing:

graphic 'New job' in this context is fairly self-explanatory.

graphic 'Quick quote' means that we are saving a copy as a Quick quote template to be used in the construction of other jobs - n.b. this is only for single part jobs.

graphic 'Price List job' means that we save a copy as a reference jobs for the production of price lists.  Again this is only for single part jobs.

graphic 'Delete' deletes the job. Note that you can't delete a live job - you'll have to either unconfirm it or invoice it first.
graphic Hovering the mouse over 'Actions' reveals another submenu containing the basic actions you can do with this job:

Those actions which are inappropriate at present for this job are greyed out.  In this example the job hasn't been confirmed yet,s o we obviously can't deliver or invoice it!

graphic Hovering the mouse over 'Print...' reveals another submenu containing the available prints for this job.

Again inappropriate actions are greyed out.

Finally the Quick Access Toolbar next to the PrintSum Logo is where you can get quick access to regularly used functions:
