The price lists in the calculation tabs are all of similar form. This example is for drilling or
punching:
If you require any of an item, you simply put in the 'required' column how many you want - it's as
simple as that!   The total is at the bottom, and (except for origination tasks, which are by
definition setup only), the run-on per thousand copies is also calculated.
Many finishing tasks can be simply divided into 'set-up' (i.e. you only do it once for the whole run)
and 'per thousand run'.  So in this example , for punching a single hole in 2000 items, there is one
setup which costs 8.00, and 2 x "DRILL HOLE PER 1000", which would have cost 0.80 each,
making the total for this line 1.60.    In fact, if you look to the left of the line you will see the symbol
which means that a minimum price has been invoked.  Any line can be set up with a minimum
in this way (see in Resource management:Tasks:Price lists).  So in this case the minimum was
set to 2.00 for this line. making the total for this task 10.00.
There are also some tasks which are only available in whole numbers  - say deliveries are
charged per kilogram or part kilogram.  In this case you would set the rounding up (in
Resources:Tasks: Price lists), and whatever whatever you enter in the required column will be
rounded as required.  To warn you, you'll see the symbol
on the left of the line.
When you set up tasks, you can group together list lines so that in certain circumstances this line
is used and in other circumstances that line is used.  For example if you are folding heavy paper,
it's a good idea to allow for the cost of a crease as well, whereas if you are using thin paper it is
not required.  This means that even if you choose the wrong line in a group, the system will
automatically assign the correct line when you recalculate.
The Required (quantity) for a line should be always what is required for the currently specified
details, paper, press, and configuration.  Each list line can be set up to pro-rata to a range of
different values, such as quantity, area, pages etc., so if you change the details, paper, or press it
will automatically pro-rata as required for any resultant new configuration.
