Task name:  This is the overall name for the task.  Changing this will also affect the task name for price lists and in jobs.  You can call origination and finishing tasks whatever you wish, but do not rename them lightly if you have a number of estimates with that task already described differently - it will affect analyses and reports.  Please note, in some versions you may not be able to change the task name.

N.B. The first two finishing tasks, regardless of what you choose to call them, will always be taken as pre-press trim and post-press trim.  And yes, we know that pre-press trim is technically not a finishing task, but as it is a production process and it changes with the run length, it is included here.

Calculation type:  There are several different simple calculation types. For details of their use see Simple calculation in the job calculation section. Please note, in some versions you may not be able to change the calculation type

Price for initial setup: This is the one-off or setup charge for this task.
Unit price:  The 'price per' charge for this calculation type - e.g. price per thousand or price per hour.

Additional (optional) price:  An additional setup for part of a job - In the example above, its the price per extra perforation setup.  This is often blank.

Per: The name associated with this initial setup.  In the example it is the Extra perforation setup. Again this is often blank.
