This is the driver's 'seat' icon, normally found at the bottom of the main screen. Simply clicking on the icon will activate the Driver's Seat window.
The dials present an accurate 'instant' snapshot of the last thirty days' activity. Moving the cursor over each dial will reveal the description of the appropriate activity represented.
Conversion Ratio
This is the % of prime quotes (not including the Alternative Quotes) that have been converted to jobs, i.e. Confirmed Status or higher.
Risk
This is the % risk that you are currently exposed to – if jobs were to be fouled up in production for any reason or if the customer reneged on payment.
Profit
This is the current % profit on the sales turnover. (This would be a net profit if the indirect costs had been absorbed into the production costs before the overall markup was applied).
Added Value
This is the actual Added Value achieved in the last 30 days and the figure shown as a % of the total sales in the period
Quote Accuracy
If you have been doing Job Costing or Shopfloor Data Collection, then the dial will show the difference between the estimated costs and the actual costs accrued - either plus or minus
Average Value
A simple figure is shown for the average sales price of the jobs you have undertaken in the last 30 days.
By clicking on any of the dials you can reveal a graph of the last 30 day's activity. Or you can show the movement by months or years. These graphs can be both viewed and printed out.
The Driver's Seat is a powerful picture of the whole of your company's activity in one screen.
