Base currency symbol: comes from your system settings and cannot be changed.
Alternative currency symbol: If you sometimes quote in an alternative currency, you can drop
down a list to choose $ £ and € symbols in case these are not available on your keyboard, or you
can key in your alternative symbol here. You'll need to say whether the alternative is a decimal
currency.
Conversion ratio: This is retained by the system but unless you have 'always use alternative
currency' checked you will be asked to update this when you quote or invoice a job.
Always use alternative currency: Checking this implies that you are tied to another currency
and have a legal requirement to show both currencies on quotes and invoices. Otherwise only
the documents for those customers for which you have enabled alternative currencies will show
it, and you will be prompted for the current rate as the system requires it.
Show pence per copy: Do you want the price per copy to be shown as pence or cents, or as
pounds or dollars?
